How do you take the plunge to join an early venture? Here are my thoughts before I decided to join Threado.
💰The FAQ - What about the risk? What about the fact that 99% of the startups fail? I could connect to the solution that Threado was being built for - that's all that mattered.
📈Can you envision the company's future? To be honest, No. But I could connect to the problem and what we are building- a solution for brands to manage and grow their online communities effortlessly.
😋 My appetite for the upcoming chaos : You've the responsibility of having to chalk out structure and processes that can scale. I thrive on the chaos that tags along.
🤝You're the culture : The team was a small knit community that worked with "all hands on the deck" pedagogy - I knew I would fit right in.
🧐How well do you know the Founder? I had worked with Prao earlier - could align by his ideals and viewpoints. My thought - believe that the person will succeed first, the company will follow.
❓What am I getting out of it? Steep learning curve by playing with various strategies to grow +personal learning +networking +process ownership.
🕑Working odd hours : Wfh, for now - this would aid in maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
But all said, always go by what your gut says! 🙋♀️
