Bitwarden is an open source password manager trusted by millions of individuals, teams, and organizations worldwide for secure password storage and sharing. The solution can be deployed both in cloud-based and on-premise environments and is fully customizable. Use Enterprise policies to adapt to business needs like requiring a certain level of password strength, multi-factor authentication or single-sign on (SSO) authentication. Every Bitwarden account begins with the creation of an end-to-end encrypted Personal Vault which allows the user to store their own personal credentials. When an individual joins a team or company they can participate, as assigned, in the Organizational Vault for access to shared credentials. This empowers users to follow password management best practices whether at home, on the go, or at work. Bitwarden also offers cross-platform accessibility on any device and is available in nearly 40 languages. Onboarding employees onto Bitwarden is easy and smooth with Directory services and SSO authentication. The Bitwarden Directory Connector feature integrates seamlessly with any LDAP-based directory, Azure, Active Directory, Google, Okta, and OneLogin to sync users and/or groups to a Bitwarden instance. The directory service automatically provisions and de-provision users, groups, and group associates so it always scales with the business. Bitwarden Login with SSO enabled authentication with an existing identity provider using SAML 2.0 or OpenID Connect. Bitwarden offers enterprise-grade security and is compliant with major privacy and security standards such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA and SOC 2. Administrators can monitor and manage security vulnerabilities using the Bitwarden Vault Health Reports. Other benefits include actionable insights to exposed, reused, weak, or potentially compromised passwords and identification of any items in the vault with inactive 2FA.
