As of now, the bot can only be trained on text-based information and not videos. Soon enough, you will be able to train the bot directly on videos as well just by pasting the link. This will allow the bot to be trained on a whole new type of data, further expanding and improving the capabilities of the bot through more knowledge.
Whether you have a podcast, have recorded events or sessions, create explainer demo videos, or make educational videos on YouTube - this bot can be a way for users to revisit your content or summarize videos however they want.
The bot essentially transcribes videos into text and then trains itself on it. Currently, you can train them on video transcripts yourself but it’s a manual process. With this capability, you just need to add the URL and the bot does the transcribing into training on its own.
When you ask questions, the bot will respond in a text form based on what it has learned from the video.
Step 1: Signup to Threado and train the bot on the desired video URLs.
Step 2: Test the bot by asking extensive questions and making sure the answers are accurate.
Step 3: Customize the bot to make it your own and setup default responses for your Slack or Discord community.
Step 4: Install the bot by embedding it on your website or adding it to your Slack or Discord workspace where users can ask questions directly.
